Last week I brought my chocolate girl, Kai to Animal ER. Dr Weber found she had a large abdominal mass. Kai was sick & I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to her. From the minute I walked in, everyone was so nice and helpful. This was such a hard decision to make but Dr. Weber gave me all of our options and plenty of time to think on it. When we were saying goodbye, Dr. Weber said some very kind words that brought us all to tears. She was amazing & I’m so grateful she was our vet. They gave us a print of Kai’s paw. They even sent us a card, signed by the whole staff, giving us their condolences. They handled everything with her cremation. Kai came in a beautiful box that we will display in our home. Even though saying goodbye to my best friend of 10 years was so hard, they made it easier! I am so thankful we brought Kai to Animal ER! We cannot thank them enough!

We had a swallowed stuffed animal emergency in the middle of the night. The Receptionist/Assistant was very Knowledgeable and Friendly. After we arrived, her and the doctor took very good care of our 10 months old Chocolate Lab and they were able to retrieve the stuffy. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommended!

My father recently had several strokes and so he was in assisted-living facility and my son and I were watching his miniature toy Pomeranian Tootsie. To our horror one day we came home and she was laying on the floor below the stairs. We’re not sure what happened, but she had spinal cord damage, and these folks were the most incredibly compassionate, awesome animal ER I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to three or four of them . Not only did they send me a card signed by everybody in the office Dr. Holly Webber was amazing but they also took a paw print and sent me all the documentation. What a great family of animal lovers this place has. If you live in the Sarasota or Bradenton area and your animal ever needs emergency services, use these people. They treated my dog like theirs great people great company thank you.

I can’t thank Animal ER of University Park enough for the outstanding care they provided for my pet! From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate, professional, and incredibly attentive. They acted quickly, kept me informed every step of the way, and truly treated my pet as if it were their own. Even in such a stressful situation, they made us feel reassured and confident in the care being given. Thanks to their expertise and kindness, my pet is on the road to recovery. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care!

My 14 year old Pomeranian Twinkie was brought in as an emergency for congestive heart failure. I am so grateful for Dr. Weber, Dr. Holifield and the entire team who worked all night and day to save Twinkie's life. Both Drs were extremely compassionate and took the time to throughouly explain Twinkie's condition. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I never once felt like they were trying to rush me off the phone or didn't want to be bothered. Dr. Weber and Dr. Holifield are both caring veteranians and I was at peace knowing my dog was in their care. The entire staff who worked with Twinkie was kind and understood how stressful this was for me. Animal ER saved my dogs life and gave me more time with my sweet girl. I will always be grateful Twinkie received nothing but the best care from this team. Thank you Animal ER for saving Twinkie.

I can’t thank Animal ER of University Park enough for the care they provided for my dog, Rocky, when he was having seizures. Dr. Corredor was incredibly thorough and compassionate, taking the time to assess Rocky carefully and explain everything in detail. I appreciate that she took the time to contact Dr. Levine, Rocky’s neurologist to give him updates. Rocky also saw Dr. Holifield who gave it to me straight, which I truly appreciated during such a stressful time. Both were extremely knowledgeable. The front desk staff was also kind and welcoming, making the whole experience a little easier. It’s never easy facing an emergency with your pet, but knowing Rocky was in such capable hands gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of urgent veterinary care!

Staff was so accommodating, explained everything to help us understand what was happening with our little girl. The medicine prescribed is working and Tedi is starting to be herself again. Thanks to the front office the doctor and the technician. Everyone was absolutely amazing!

As soon as we pulled up to their entrance, two staff members came out to check on us. They immediately brought out a stretcher and helped us get our girl out of the car and onto the stretcher. Once inside they were quick to taker her back and get her checked out. They kept us informed the entire time and walked us through their assessments and thoughts on treatment options. We never felt pressured. And the icing on top of all the great care was the cost. I honestly expected to pay a fortune for an ER visit, but to my surprise the prices were extremely reasonable for the great service and care we received. If you need an emergency vet this place will love and care for your furry family well and let you know all your options. Thank you to everyone that helped us out that night!! You guys were AWESOME! From the front desk to the vet!!
