My dogs love it here (that's why I drive over) . Yes Tuesdays is clean up day -rearrange your schedule. There are homeless people yes- gerrymandering around Sarasota does that. It's a dog park that we are putting reviews on . Not what happens behind the scenes or around it.

This park is the BEST! It’s beautiful and looks out to Gillespie park which is gorgeous. All of the people and dogs I have interacted with have been friendly and courteous. Closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.

This is a great place to take large and small dogs. Of course, there are areas for each size. The dog park is full of regular visitors, which is always assuring. It is also more roomy than it looks. Right next to downtown!

I don’t know how people feel comfortable bringing their kids or dogs here. The park as well as the dog park are very nice and well maintained but it’s swarming with homeless people. No thanks

Love the smaller size and the less busy areas. Little spot to toss the ball or frisbee with the pups. Always friendly people with a good vibe.

Today is Wednesday and the club is closed for maintenance on Tuesday. The trash receptacle is overflowing loaded with flies and obvious poop on the grass nearby’ could be a nice place if maintenance actually occurs!!
