If your looking for a place where people will care about you, your child and/or your horse like family you found your barn. The Sammon family has the incredibly hard to find blend of expertise, high standards, kindness, and encouragement. Our daughters have been training here for six years and we board our horse here as well. To say we feel like we found gold is understatement. As a family who came in knowing very little we couldn’t have asked for a better place to start.

My daughter has been riding at Sammon Equestrian for the past 6 months. She loves working with Ashley Sammon. Ashley is a very knowledgeable and competent instructor. It’s easy to see she has a love of horses and riding. And, that she enjoys sharing her passion with her students.

When we moved to Sarasota a little over a year ago, we were very happy to find Sammon Equestrian stables so close by. And that they took in different disciplines. Ashley and her family are very nice and easy to work with for our horses needs. They always make sure they have clean stalls, are fed on time and plenty of clean water to drink.

After taking a 15+ break from horse riding i was welcomed here with open arms. Ashley is a fantastic trainer who has so much patience and skill. The staff is fantastic, friendly and always willing to lend a hand and some extra knowledge. Great family atmosphere! Can’t wait to board my own horse here once i make a purchase, there’s no where else i would trust to be so thorough with my horses care. If you are looking for a barn for lessons and/or boarding, i highly recommend Sammon equestrian!

The Sammon Equestrian - absolutely the best, cleanest and professional equestrian facility we have experienced . Mrs Ashley is truly amazing , she loves what she does , she loves her horses and cares about her riders . Mrs Ashley and Mr Pete are always super helpful and kind, and hardworking of course! My daughter Mia learned a lot under Mrs Ashley's supervision. We are so grateful that we found Sammon Equestrian .

Sammon Equestrian is the wonderful barn family we didn't know we needed. My daughter has taken lessons here for 6 years now, Ashley couldn't be a better example of a human being for kids needing to learn what having a good work ethic truly means. The consistency in care and concern for the all of the horses boarded and owned by Sammon Equestrian is top notch. Cleanliness is more than expected from any barn setting as well as the level of knowledge in each individual rider and horses needs. I have watched my daughter as well as all of the other committed riders over the years progress at a consistent pace with skill and level of knowledge being passed through each lesson whether it be in the arena or even in the cross ties before a lesson.

This is the BEST facility in the area. Great people, great training, great location. One of a kind. Been at Sammon Equestrian for almost 6 years and couldn't imagine riding anywhere else. A truly drama-free and family oriented environment - for both adults and kids. I am lucky enough to call this place and it's people my "barn family". My daughter, myself and our two horses could not be happier.
