We went in for my daughter's first pointe shoe fitting. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained in great detail what they are looking for and how they establish fit. They empowered her to provide feedback and share her preferences, and ultimately to make her own decision from a set of great choices.

This is a great store with all the supplies your dancer needs. Knowledgeable staff who are friendly and helpful. Great selection of leotards, some a little pricey, but mostly decent prices.

We went to the Dancewear Shoppe today in Sarasota. It is quite closed to Celery Field. My daughter needed 3” character shows for her role in Cinderella at the Rise Above performing arts theatre. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in and was escorted to the shoe section by Elena. She was extremely knowledgeable, and fitted my daughter perfectly. They did not have them in stock in her size so she placed an order that will be there in a week. It was such a pleasurable stress free experience

My daughter loves this place ❤️ We got her dance shoes for tap and ballet. Customer service was excellent; they helped my daughter choose the right size with devotion and patience.
