Dogs are great here. 1 small dog and one big dog park. Can only speak to the big dog side. The owners are respectful and friendly. In the middle of the park is a covered concrete patio with 3 picnic tables. They have 2 baby pools, lots of water buckets, and plenty of room to run, sniff, chase, and bark. The dogs are bigger than other big dog sides of the park with my English Mastiff, a couple of St. Bernard's, a wolfhound, a couple of Great Danes, just to name a few. All friendly.

We took our 10 month old Belguim Malinois named Chloe. It's very nice and big for dogs to play and run. I take my 88 year old gentleman with me to dog parks, so I appreciate the fact that you can walk on a lot of sidewalks. He uses a walker. I plan to have him walk on the sidewalks on the outer boundaries to get exercise. The covered shelter with picnic tables is nice, but another shelter would be more accommodating if there are crowds; especially to get out of the hot summer months that now start in April. The agility training obstacles were great. The only downside is that they need to have trees planted inside the dog park for shade. Another water station would also be great in some shade. The bottom line is to take your dogs to any dog park before 11 am. in the morning or at dusk in the evenings.

My whole family enjoys coming here, especially the pupper. She always makes excited crying sounds when we pull up in the parking lot. Her cousin comes along sometimes and loves romping around together, leash-free. The dog park is divided into a small and large dog area, the separating line being at 30 lbs. There is a path to walk your dog around the perimeter of both dog park areas. The restrooms have always been clean during our visits. A few benches and a covered pavilion with picnic tables are located inside both dog park areas. Dog owners are still expected to clean up after their dog, so we have not seen poo piles in the playing area, but we have seen people leaving them in the grass leading up to the dog park. There is a hose for filling up bowls of water, and several bowls are already there. Word of caution to always wear closed toed shoes, or you may risk the possibility of fire ant bites, speaking from second hand experience. Parking lot is decently sized, and we have not had a problem finding a spot even if a lot of people are visiting all at once. Children have a playground with a jungle gym to enjoy too. Great space for families to spend time together outside.

I was visiting Bradenton for a few weeks and found this dog park a mile from my parents. It was great. We only got to visit a handful or times but there was always a great group of dogs and owners, with the dogs of various sizes on the large dog side. I look forward to bringing my pup here again in the future as he made a lot of pals and was able to run around in such a large area. There was a pavilion inside the fenced area with 3 picnic tables and a hose where you could fill up water bowls, as well as various benches throughout the fenced in area.

Two nice, large areas for dogs to run and play, one for pups under 30 lbs, and another generous-sized area for over 30 lbs. Predominantly turf, not sand. Patrons are very courteous, helping to keep the water bowls clean, and minding their pets' manners.

There were many respectful dogs at the park. You can walk through a forest in the shade or in the sun by the slough. There are signs explaining the history of the park

Very nice park with lots of room for the dogs . A few more trees (15) would make this perfect.

Love this beautiful well maintained park. The bathrooms are close and they are clean. We have enjoyed the people as well as the pups. Oh side note they are closed on Tuesday mornings until 11AM. Enjoy 100% Sarah approved.
